I first heard about Xamarin in 2014 after I returned from the WW MSP Summit in Seattle. At that time, I was a core Windows Platforms programmer – Windows Desktop with WPF and Windows Phone. As the curious guy that I was, I downloaded it and ran the trial then – it was a $99 subscription. I created my first app and I got my free Xamarin t-shirt.

As a developer for some years, I have seen and written quite a number of applications – web, mobile, cloud and AI apps. I can tell you I have written some cool ones and some really bad ones. I have also had the opportunity to review lots of code while helping organizations solve problems in getting their solutions up in the cloud.

I have been writing C# now for about 8 years and most of the questions I get is “Hey Dara, why do you write C#, why not JS or PHP?” Truth is well, I can write Alert(“Hello World); in JavaScript and whatever equivalent of that in other languages.

Hi there, I am about to do another walkthrough of my “DIY” series.

This is specifically for blogger who sometimes worry about text heading etc. and how to get their posts to show up right and how they want it to look.

I discovered this when I was using Microsoft Word 2013, there is a template called “Blog Post”.
So, what I will do is walk you through the basic and fundamental steps of getting your blog on track and feel using Microsoft Word.
